People often ask us what our favorite part about being in the waterless car wash business is. It’s a pretty loaded question as we would have trouble narrowing the list down to just one single thing but if we had to pick just one it would probably be for the fact that we get to interact with so many different people from around the world. Our customers are just one part of this but most businesses have customers from all over the world so while we definitely appreciate our international customers, for this purpose we were thinking more of the international detailers. Today we are going to be taking a closer look at one of those detailers, this is Pro Exclusive.
Based out of Poland, these guys definitely face some disadvantages in the waterless car wash industry but also have quite a few advantages on their side as well. Their disadvantages obviously begin with the weather. If you know anything about Poland then you already know it can be very cold there and they experience some particularly harsh winters. This means that people can often start neglecting their car care because of all the snow on the ground. This is definitely not a good look for your vehicle.
On the other hand, all that cold weather and snow can also be a positive for their business strategy. The main reason people don’t want to go out and wash in the winter is because it is so cold that they don’t want to be spraying even colder water around. With the waterless car wash that problem is solved completely. You can even keep your car inside of a heated garage and wash it from the inside, no cold, no water, just shine. What a perfect combination!
Of course, for the people that don’t like to wash their own cars, Pro Exclusive takes care of everything for them. These guys can claim their success to be attributed to a lot more than just picking a suitable location, they are bonafide experts on waterless car wash tactics as well. One thing that is very important to us in our business is to know what our customers think about everything we do. So many businesses fail to see that what their customers think is the most important thing of all, because without the customer then there would definitely be no business to begin with. There is nothing that we appreciate more than receiving honest feedback from our customers because it really helps us to grow our brand in the best way possible. Today the question that is on our minds is, “what do you actually think of the term ‘waterless’?”
It might seem like a silly question considering the fact that our entire brand is built off of a product that has the word waterless in its name, but it is still a very valid question to us. The only reason we feel comfortable even discussing this with all of you is because by being here reading this right now, we already know you are on board with what we stand for. So to clarify our question a bit further, what sort of thoughts does the world ‘waterless’ conjure up for you?
We ask because recently it has come to our attention that some people who are not involved in waterless washing of their vehicles view the word waterless as it relates to car care as a negative. So far some of the feedback is from people who are afraid that a waterless product could actually damage their car and it is not something they would use on their own vehicle. Needless to say, this does not help us to grow our own brand, the waterless car wash as a whole, or help the environment through our efforts.
Of course, that is just a small sample size and made up people who have no idea what the waterless car wash is at all. On the other hand, those are exactly the type of people we are targeting and need to be educating to start using waterless products for their own benefit and the benefit of the environment as well. If the word waterless is holding us back from that, then it might be time to start rethinking our strategies a little bit. Believe us, it would take a lot before we made a complete branding switch, but it is something that we should be thinking about ahead of time in case that ever needs to happen.
So after you tell us your opinions on the word waterless itself, do you have any other suggestions for what might make a better name to describe our product? Waterless we feel works really well because it describes the product as simply as possible. We really do like the term waterless but as we said, it never hurts to have some backup ideas that could be used if it ever comes to that. What do you all think

Rick is a real legend in the waterless car wash industry as he knows just about all the secrets that we do for getting the most out of the waterless car wash. Rick doesn’t rely on tricks or schemes though to get cars clean, he washes each one by hand and doesn’t stop until each car has reached his own personal level of satisfaction. Don’t worry though, because we are willing to bet Rick’s standards for a clean car are a whole lot higher than yours are anyways.
Being located in the midwest may be seen as a disadvantage to some waterless car wash detailers, Rick takes advantage of his unique situation. While the midwest may not be the area of the US with the most waterless car wash activity, Rick makes up for that by being the only waterless car wash detailer in the area. This means that when someone in Ohio wants to get their car washed waterlessly, it is very likely that Rick is the man they are going to see.
